I am crazy about the print on this 1970s dress by Maurice. It is a mix of butterflies and mushrooms on a blue sky background and that combined with the cut makes for one pretty dress. Maurice was a Pucci & Leonard contemporary in the seventies and used the same type of print work in his pieces. but tended to be a little less abstract. The dress has a gorgeous halter style bodice that is bordered with a contrasting print and has a sexy keyhole at the neckline. The skirt has a fair amount of volume and I love how it drapes fro that low angled waist line. It is a great & easy dress to wear- style it for day with flats or paired with a cropped evening jacket and heels for evening events year-round. Really a pretty and wonderful dress. Excellent condition.
Unlined and closes with aback metal and nylon zipper. The blue is a touch deeper in person then how it photoed.
